Chad is a United States Navy veteran who has first hand experience of the therapeutic healing powers of fly fishing coping with PTSD. Chad is an avid fly fisherman who has combined his love for the outdoors and passion for art and design to form Soul River.

Chad recognized the need for a conscious apparel and gear line with style and substance that can also serve as a vehicle to communicate environmental advocacy as well as share the healing powers of fly fishing. Chad has over 16 years of experience in creative advertising & design running a full- service advertising and design firm working as a creative director, designer, and photographer with international clients. Chad has lead teams to produce strong international brands through integrated advertising campaigns that include print campaigns, websites, commercials, and more. Chad earned his undergraduate degree in Communication Design at American Intercontinental University in Atlanta, Georgia and completed his Masters in Communication Design at Pratt in Manhattan, New York City.
